The standard we work to

The site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.

2.0

Compliance status

When tested on 20 September 2026, this site met WCAG 2.2 level AA on every check carried out.

What that statement covers, and what it does not

The testing was automated and scripted. It covered every page, at desktop and phone widths, and included the criteria an automated tool cannot judge on its own: contrast measured from computed colour values, target size, focus visibility, focus obscuring across the tab order, text spacing override, 200 per cent text resize, reflow to 320 pixels and the control over moving content. Manual screen reader testing, manual keyboard testing by a person, and testing by people who use assistive technology day to day have not been done. This statement claims what was tested and no more.

Known limitations

No departure from WCAG 2.2 level AA was found by the testing carried out. Six issues were found during the build and all six were fixed before this statement was written: the control needed over the moving strip of client logos, the size of footer links and the enquiry form checkbox, the skip link being hidden behind the site header, focus order behind the header, heading order in the footer, and the colour contrast of small gold text on light grounds.
