Services
One advisory method, applied across the building safety lifecycle.
Beers does not run separate service lines with separate behaviours. We apply one advisory method at different points in the life of a building safety problem. The subject changes. The method does not.
The practice
What Beers is
Beers Consultancy is an independent building and fire safety advisory practice working across complex residential and higher-risk building matters. Our work brings together building surveying judgement, fire and building safety knowledge, remediation strategy, regulatory process and wider building fabric understanding. We review evidence, challenge assumptions, coordinate specialist input and help clients move from fragmented technical information to clear, proportionate and defensible decisions.
Where to start
Six places to start
External wall risk, FRAEW and EWS1
Assessment support to PAS 9980:2026, peer review of an appraisal you already hold, EWS1, and what to open up before a scope is priced.
Safety case and BAC
Safety case report authorship and review, Building Assessment Certificate applications, and BSR engagement and RFI response.
Gateway strategy
Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 advisory, submission review before it is made, and as-built alignment.
Remediation and funding
Scope and cost challenge, Cladding Safety Scheme and Building Safety Fund applications, and holding the client position with the team.
Peer review and legal team support
What the documents prove, what they assume, where they conflict, and what technical position they will support.
Golden thread and evidence
Structuring the record so it can be held, maintained and handed on.
Need a clear position from complex building safety evidence?
Send us the reports, the issue and the decision you need to make. We will tell you whether the evidence supports the position, what remains uncertain and what a proportionate next step looks like.
